About guama
A few days ago, I started craving guama, a fruit I hadn't eaten in a long time. So yesterday, my friend Jake and I went to the farmer’s market to look for it. When we finally found one, we couldn’t wait to try it. We were really surprised! The fruit comes in a long, green pod that looks like a giant bean. When we opened it, we found large black seeds covered in a soft, white pulp. The texture was fluffy, almost like cotton candy. The most interesting part was the taste! It was sweet and creamy, with a hint of vanilla. I loved it, but Jake thought it was too mild for his liking. He prefers fruit with a stronger flavor. Guama is popular in many tropical countries like Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. After trying it, I can definitely see why!
